Client Accounting Assistant, Malta

Role Summary

The Client Accounting team are responsible for the financial and accounting records and matters for the clients of Dominion. This role will form part of the Client Accounting team and assist the Senior Client Accounting Officer in the preparation of financial information and returns for our clients and regulated pension schemes.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of simple UK tax returns such as S731 and SA900;
  • Assist in the preparation of simple US tax returns such as the Form 3520A;
  • Assist in preparation of regulatory and other ad hoc reporting;
  • Assisting with the annual audit of the regulated pension schemes;
  • Assist in the preparation of audited financial statements for the regulated pension schemes;
  • Review of annual accounting information compiled by the Assistant Client Officers as part of the file preparations;
  • Preparation of client financial statements and supporting schedules;
  • Assisting with admin queries regarding accounting matters;
  • Assist and maintenance of monthly reports and other ad hoc tasks;
  • Understand the overall client accounting team objectives and assist team members as necessary the wider interest of the team and overall goals.

Key Competencies / Skills / Experience / Behaviours Required

  • In the process of attaining relevant qualification such as ACA/ACCA;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Ability to work in a team and independently;
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
