Client Accounting Assistant Manager

Role Summary
➢ To run the Client Accounting team, effectively and efficiently;
➢ To assist the Client Accounting Director with any ad-hoc reports.
➢ To ensure all Client accounts are prepared within a 10-month deadline.
➢ To develop and motivate junior members of the team.
➢ To keep technically up-to-date on FRS 102 (1A) and IFRS accounting policies .

Key Responsibilities
➢ Maintain a high standard of client reporting and accounting records;
➢ Follow Dominion policies and procedures;
➢ Assist with any day to day bookkeeping issues admins;
➢ Preparation of complex files;
➢ Review team members files;
➢ Experience on all Company and Trust accounts production
➢ Responsible for meeting all client Accounting deadlines;
➢ Actively work with Private Client team to ensure on time delivery of accounts files;
➢ Actively look at increasing profitability and more efficient processes;
➢Plan & prioritise plan workloads;
➢ Train junior members of Client Accounting team and run ad-hoc training for more complex issues to PC teams when needed;
➢ Prepare S731, UK tax returns;
➢ Overall ownership, responsibility & accountability for the Accounts Tracker;
➢ Provide direction and motivation to junior member so staff and lead by example;

➢ Good technical understanding of FRS & IFRS;

➢ Self-motivated and pro-active;
➢ Ability to work independently and prioritise workload;
➢ ACCA/CA qualification;
➢ Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Client Accounting ; and
➢ Experience with Navision.
