Corporate Accountant, Corporate Services

Role Summary

To provide client accounting and reporting to a wide range of corporate and real estate clients within the Dominion Corporate Business. This will include a wide range of asset classes and SPV accounting work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the day-to-day Corporate Accounting duties;
  • Prepare Corporate accounting files;
  • Prepare, distribute and attend Board Meetings, to present quarterly financial statements;
  • Responsible for meeting all M&A and client deadlines;
  • Prepare & post loan calculations;
  • Follow Dominion procedures & checklists at all times;
  • Bookkeeping activities;
  • Maintenance of IT system;
  • Responsibility for Investment Reporting;
  • Preparation of all quarterly financial statements to UK GAAP and /or IFRS;
  • Responsible for all Accounting based templates for clients;
  • Prepare full accounting files for auditors, if required;
  • Liaise with corporate team, clients and auditors directly;
  • Actively assist in take on of new clients (accounting work only);
  • Manage workload effectively to work efficiently;
  • Work to client timelines unaided; and
  • Ad hoc project work as directed by Corporate Director.

  • Good technical understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP;

  • Ability to work independently and prioritise workload;
  • Qualified accounting technician or part qualified in the ACCA qualification , or equivalent;
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Corporate or Real Estate Accounting; and
  • Must have experience on Navision
