More than £19,000 was raised during the 2015 Jersey Hospice Care Golf Day.
The annual event, which has been running for nine years, is sponsored by Pure Charity Charitable Trust and Dominion Fiduciary Services Limited. Held at the Royal Jersey Golf Club twenty seven teams enjoyed a breakfast before teeing off in the 18 hole competition, which was followed by a three course lunch, raffle and auction. The funds raised from the Jersey Hospice Care Golf Day will be used by the charity to provide free care for those with life limiting conditions and support for their families.
Derek Hoddinott, Chief Executive at Jersey Hospice Care, said:
“The golf day is always over sub-scribed, as it is such a fun day for everyone taking part. We are extremely grateful to Sarah Harris, Trevor Griggs and Victoria Vawser for all their hard work in organising the event. Over the years, it has raised over £100,000 for Jersey Hospice Care. This incredible amount allows us to care for people with life limiting conditions and provide support to their families.”
