Melissa Gordon (née Higginbottom) is a HR professional with over 5 years’ experience in her field.
Melissa holds a First Class Bachelor of Arts with Honours degree in International Business Languages with Human Resource Management from Edinburgh Napier University; BTEC Level 3 Certificate in Payroll Techniques; Mental Health First Aider Status, and the CIPD Level 5 Certificate in Human Resource Management.
After her university studies, Melissa moved from Scotland to Jersey in November 2015 and joined Dominion as a Human Resources Administrator. In July 2018 Melissa was promoted to the role Senior Human Resources and Payroll Officer for the group.
As Senior People Officer, Melissa is responsible for supporting the People function in the delivery of all people activity through first line Operational HR and payroll activity with an international focus, and building effective relationships and trust across Dominion’s jurisdictions.
In her spare time Melissa enjoys keeping fit, chasing the sun, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
