Senior Accounts Preparer, Jersey

Department: Client Accounting

Reports to: Client Accounting Manager

Role Summary

  • To assist with managing the Client Accounting team, effectively and efficiently.
  • To assist the Client Accounting Director with any ad-hoc reports.
  • To ensure all Client accounts are prepared within the deadlines set by the client or by law.
  • To prepare the Corporate Team management accounts and annual financial statements.
  • To improve existing processes and procedures regarding the account production.
  • To develop and motivate junior members of the team.
  • To keep technically up-to-date on FRS 102 (1A) and IFRS accounting policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strong & enthusiastic team player;
  • Strong IT skills;
  • Experience of developing and mentoring others;
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills;
  • Good technical understanding of FRS & IFRS;
  • Can work & deliver under pressure;
  • Self-motivated and pro-active;
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise workload;
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Client Accounting; and
  • Experience with Navision.
