Ben is a Chartered Accountant with over 4 decades of experience in the Financial Services sector, having commenced his career in the Trust Department of a Private Bank in Jersey in 1982. Ben transferred into the Accountancy sector in his 20’s and later qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1993 when he moved to Deloitte and latterly to Ernst & Young. Ben was the offshore representative of both Deloitte and E&Y’s, UK and US National tax functions, where Ben specialised in the area of International Compensation and Benefit Planning as well as structuring for Ultra High Net Worth Clients with cross border business interests.
Ben left the Accountancy world to establish Dominion in 2001 and has grown the firm to become one of the World’s leading owner managed multinational and multi service Trust and Corporate services providers, administering Trust, Corporate, Fund and Pension structures for Ultra High Net Worth and Institutional clients.
Ben is a graduate of Leeds University, a Member of the Trust and Estates Planning Institute and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Ben is a keen sportsman and takes part in Triathlon’s as well as long distance swimming and cycling events. Ben also takes part in British GT racing where he drives a Ginetta.
